AFIYANI SHIPPING POLICY

Last updated: 25 August 2026

At AFIYANI, we aim to get your order to you as quickly and reliably as possible.

1. DELIVERY TIME

All AFIYANI orders are delivered using Aramex Store-to-Door delivery.

Our standard estimated delivery time is:

7 –11 business days

Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on the delivery destination, courier operations, public holidays, weather conditions, peak shopping periods and other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

The delivery period begins after your order has been processed and dispatched.

We will provide tracking information where available so that you can monitor the progress of your order.

2. PROCESSING AND DISPATCH

Orders are processed and prepared for dispatch after successful payment has been received and verified.

Once your order has been handed over to the courier, you will receive the available tracking information.

Please ensure that the delivery address and contact details supplied at checkout are accurate and complete.

AFIYANI cannot be held responsible for delays or failed delivery caused by incorrect, incomplete or outdated information supplied by the customer.

3. COURIER DELAYS

AFIYANI uses third-party courier services to deliver orders.

While we work with our courier partner to facilitate timely delivery, once an order has been handed over to the courier, certain delays may be outside AFIYANI's reasonable control.

These may include:

  • Courier network delays;
  • High-volume periods;
  • Public holidays;
  • Severe weather;
  • Natural disasters;
  • Road closures or disruptions;
  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery information;
  • Failed delivery attempts;
  • Customer unavailability;
  • Address or access difficulties;
  • Security-related disruptions; and
  • Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Where a delay occurs, AFIYANI will reasonably assist the customer in communicating with the courier and tracking the shipment.

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded or limited under South African law.

4. CUSTOMS, CLEARANCE AND GOVERNMENT DELAYS

Where an order is subject to customs, import procedures, regulatory inspections or other government clearance requirements, delivery may take longer than the estimated delivery period.

AFIYANI is not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities, government agencies or other third parties outside our reasonable control.

Where applicable, any customs duties, import taxes, clearance charges or other government-imposed charges that are legally payable by the customer will be the customer's responsibility, unless AFIYANI expressly states otherwise at checkout.

5. DELIVERY ADDRESS

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and valid contact information when placing an order.

Please carefully check your information before completing your purchase.

If an order cannot be delivered because of an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer, additional delivery charges may apply to arrange a new delivery, where permitted by law.

6. FAILED DELIVERY ATTEMPTS

If the courier attempts delivery and is unable to complete the delivery because nobody is available, the address is inaccessible, or the customer cannot be contacted, the courier may arrange another delivery attempt or provide further instructions.

Customers are responsible for cooperating with reasonable delivery arrangements.

7. LOST OR DAMAGED SHIPMENTS

If your order appears to have been lost or damaged during delivery, please contact AFIYANI as soon as reasonably possible.

We may request your order number, photographs of the parcel and any other information reasonably required to investigate the matter with the courier.

Where AFIYANI is legally responsible for the loss or damage, we will provide the remedy required by applicable South African law.

8. DELIVERY TO THE CUSTOMER

Orders are delivered using the delivery service selected or specified by AFIYANI.

Customers should inspect their parcel when it arrives.

If the parcel appears to have been materially damaged before opening, please photograph the parcel and contact AFIYANI as soon as reasonably possible.

9. DELIVERY ESTIMATES

The stated 7 – 11 business day delivery period is an estimated delivery timeframe and not a guarantee of delivery on a specific day.

AFIYANI will nevertheless take reasonable steps to ensure orders are dispatched and delivered within the stated timeframe.

For electronic transactions, South African law requires online suppliers to provide information regarding the period within which goods will be dispatched or delivered. Where an agreed delivery period is not met, applicable consumer rights may arise.

10. ORDERS THAT ARE DELAYED

If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery period, please contact AFIYANI with your order number.

We will check the tracking information and, where necessary, contact the courier to investigate the delay.

If a delivery delay results in a consumer right to cancel or obtain another remedy under applicable South African law, AFIYANI will comply with the applicable legal requirements.

11. FORCE MAJEURE

AFIYANI will not be responsible for delays caused by circumstances that are genuinely beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, civil unrest, strikes, infrastructure failures, government actions, widespread courier disruptions, or other events that could not reasonably have been prevented.

This provision does not remove or restrict any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under South African law.
